Zespół Szkół Salezjańskich DON BOSCO in Wrocław was established in 2017. It is a complex of schools that comprises a kindergarten, primary school, secondary school and a vocational school. It is a public school located in the city centre open to students from Wrocław and other parts of Lower Silesia. There are 70 well-educated teachers and 500 students aged 3-19.
The school endeavours to make every student personally experience a happy atmosphere that will help them to leave the school with a high level of confidence in their own abilities, as well as excellent examination results. These aim can be attained thanks to innovative teaching techniques as well as a wide range of sport, cultural, scientific activities. In addition to this, The Salesian school has two buildings, where one can find fully- equipped science laboratories. Not only does our School aim to use new technologies in education, but it also emphasises the development of ICT skills among students and teachers. Therefore, most classrooms are equipped with interavctive InterWrite whiteboards and state-of-the-art audio systems. All teachers have been trained to use these modern tools in their work.
Zespół Szkół Salezjańskih offers a whole array of extra-curricular activities. For instance, our students are taught how to become professional photographers and how to make advanced videos, the best of which are posted on TVSLO WROC Youtube channel. Furthermore, we have a school brass orchestra and a string quartet that take part in professional recordings and give concerts during school celebrations. It is worth being mentioned that our school organises a regional writing competition named ‘Złote Pióro’ that promotes creative writing among teenagers. Moreover, the school cooperates with SP6ZWR. Rescue Spaces Club. As a result of this cooperation, they jointly organised the flight of a stratospheric balloon in 2018.
